Mexico City  - The Mexican navy seized a boat with 3 tonnes of marijuana in Pacific waters off the coast of Mexico, military officials said Thursday.

The Navy said three Mexicans were also arrested in the operation in the Gulf of California near the Mexican state of Sonora.

The drugs were divided into 326 packages. (dpa)
