Men’s Health Network launches new website on prostate health

Men's Health Network has come up with a new website. This month, the network is celebrating Prostate Health Month. Reports say that the website is aimed at men looking forward to learn more about prostate cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostatitis.

The Prostate Health Guide will be the first source of information for several men interested in learning about issues related to prostate health. Here, users can read sections on risk factors, diagnosis, and treatment in detail. They will learn more about the prostate conditions in detail.

According to Brandon Leonard, Director of Strategic Initiatives at Men's Health Network, they are excited about the launch of Prostate Health Guide during Prostate Health Month in September.

It is a sensitive issue for several men when it comes to prostate health. In view of that, the site will let initial research to be carried out privately, before people see their doctors.

The Prostate Cancer Awareness Month page includes links of a number of the organizations related to prostate cancer awareness in the USA and other nations. It also offers tools for those looking forward to promote prostate health awareness.

According to Jean J. E. Bonhomme, MD, MPH, member of MHN Board of Directors and National Black Men's Health Network founder, "Even though prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among men, men and women alike remain poorly informed about this important disease. African American men and men with a family history are at exceptionally high risk".
