Maruti Suzuki makes a comeback
While the competition has been trying its level best to ensure that the market leader is caught barefoot in the domestic circuit wherein the demand is already very high but Maruti on the other end, is trying very hard to prove that why it is the market leader in India for the past more than two decades.
In fact, while many parts of the country were suffering from water logging and heavy traffics in the month of August but Maruti Suzuki has recently said that it has clocked the highest monthly sales ever in the last month riding on the back of factors like availability of easy financing and several sleek models to choose from.
It may be noted here that the company said it has sold close to 1.05 lakh vehicles including exports in August, which is a gain of 24% year-on-year.
Mahantesh Sabrad, auto analyst with Mumbai-based Fortune Financials said that the sales could even be higher for the entire industry but rains have played a spoilt sport. Offering products like Alto, WagonR, Estilo, Swift, A-Star and Ritz in the small car segment, the company is surely charged up to take on its counterparts even in the coming months.
