Mamata Brings Hope For Nano Rollout

Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee appeared to change her stance on the small car project Mamata Brings Hope For Nano Rolloutissue of TATA. Her party and state government conducted first round of talks on Friday.

The chief minister of the state and Ms Banerjee requested the state governor to chair the meeting for the end of dead lock. The governor, GK Gandhi will chair the crucial meeting between a state government panel and a five-member Trinamool delegation. He ruled out to be a mediator in the case.

The governor has sought the services of former chief justice of Bombay High Court Chittatosh Mukherjee on the legal aspects of the case. The governor also wanted the presence of TATA chief Mr. Ratan TATA in the meeting as per confidential reports.

Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee said that her party would wait for the outcome of the meeting with the governor and prepare the next strategy after that. State industry minister Nirupam Sen said that the state government is happy over the positive signs given by Mamta. He ruled out to give any detail of communication of tata with the state government after the suspension of work at Singur plan.
