Mahindra Satyam clocks revenue figure of $1.3 billionAmidst the recovery from an accounting fraud disclosed by its founder B Ramalinga Raju last year, after which the company was acquired by the IT section of the Mahindra Group, Tech Mahindra, sources believe that the revenue figure of Satyam has been moving around the $1.2 billion levels.

According to the sources, the company was clocking around $100 million every month from the past two months and is more concerned about the problem of the rising attrition rates rather than the consumer disengagement. While there has been no official word from the company yet but it is believed that the post-takeover financials would be released, some time in the second quarter of this financial year.

It is believed that while some customers, who had left the company after Raju disclosed the fudging of the accounts, have come back on board but it is the problem of recession that is making things worse. When Raju made his fraud public, the head count of the company was close to 53,000 which have now come close to 25,000.

In fact, it is believed that the company will try and keep the attrition rate low to gain momentum in the future.
