Auto giant Mahindra & Mahindra has rolled out an air-conditioned version of its four-wheel drive jeep, Thar at a base value of Rs 6.75 lakh.

The company, which had thus far stayed away from fitting the off-roader jeep with an AC, decided to set up it after client response, in which individuals felt the need for the comfort of an air conditioner.

Mahindra & Mahindra’s senior marketing vice-president, automotive division, Vivek Nayer made this declaration.

Mr. Nayer said that the newly launched Thar model is available at a value of at Rs 6.75 lakh and upwards.

He added that the new model is Bharat Stage IV-compliant.

Mahindra & Mahindra also declared that the agenda for the second term of its branding and client connect scheme named 'Mahindra Adventure' engaging themed-drives and off-roading rivalries, amongst others.

A domestic plan thus far, this year's version will also consist of a tri-nation drive moving through India, Bhutan and Nepal and also an event in the South African market.
