London Mansion on sale for whooping £300 million
An impressive mansion in the British capital, London has been put on sale discreetly with a price tag of a jaw dropping £300 million, which would make it the most expensive house ever offered on sale in the UK.
The house at 2-8a Rutland Gate, just south of 2-8a Rutland Gate, has seven floors and 45 bedrooms. The owners are selling 60,000 sq ft of area with the house, whose 68 windows open to a stunning garden view. It is believed that the house has a a swimming pool, vast kitchen and lavish interior decorations including golden leafs. According to some sources, the house has been on sale for several months but it is not open for sale in the open market.
The house is being offered by agents to a select group of potential buyers with the ability and will to pay the whooping price of the house. The building was originally made as four independent housing units but it was merged into one. It was the resident of Rafiq Hariri, who was the former prime minister of Lebanon till his assassination in a car bomb in Beruit in 2005.
Following the assassination, the house was transferred to Sultan bin Abdulaziz, who was the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, who died in October 2011. The house is now for sale to a select number of investors, who, as per the property experts, are likely to be part of the Forbes 500 list.
