Leon Cupra R, fastest from Seat, will hit UK roads from April 1
Seat is launching its most powerful car, Leon Cupra R, in UK from April 1 this year. The Leon Cupra R is also the fastest car of Seat with a top speed of 155 miles per hour.
This speedster by Seat is expected to cost £25205 for its UK customers. The Leon Cupra R is the first car with R badge in past four years by the company. The last Cupra R badge was seen back in 2006.
Seat said that the new Leon Cupra R is the most powerful car ever made by the company. The company said that the power comes from a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that produces 261bhp. Leon Cupra R is also the quickest accelerating model to date by Seat as the car can crack 0-62mph in 6.2 seconds.
The Leon Cupra R also has an impressive torque, with a peak of 350 Nm at just 2,500 rpm. The torque is 50 Nm more than the standard Leon Cupra. The combined fuel economy stands at just less than 35mpg, while CO2 emissions are rated at 190g/km.
