Lenovo launches its first all-in-one desktop, IdeaCentre A600
The largest personal computer manufacturer of China - Lenovo has launched its first all-in-one desktop, IdeaCentre A600. In its press release, the world's fourth largest PC maker - Lenovo has stated that its new IdeaCentre A600 is an all-in-one desktop featuring 21.5-inch frameless screen measuring an inch at its slimmest point.
According to Lenovo, the IdeaCentre A600 comes with 4-in-1 optical remote that renders it capable of four features including 'motion sensor' gaming feature. The 4-in-1 remote control can also work as a VOIP 3 handset; it can help to make and receive phone calls over the Internet. The 4-in-1 remote control can also work as a media center/TV remote, and Microsoft Vista Media Center, it can be used to operate DVDs, movies and TV. The 4-in-1 optical remote can also work as an "air mouse" and it can be used to move the cursor on the screen.
The IdeaCentre A600 comes equipped with 16:9 aspect ratio screen with fullHD resolution and features integrated speaker system with bass sub-woofer and Dolby Home Theater audio certification. The A600 features an Intel Core2 Duo processor, an optional ATI Radeon graphics card with DirectX10 support, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory and up to 1TB of hard drive space.
Meanwhile, according to reports, Lenovo is planning to launch several additional models of all-in-one desktops later this year; the company is planning to launch the entry-level 20-inch C300 in May, C100 and quad-core CPU-based B500 in August, and ultra-thin A300 in October. According to the market reports, Acer is gearing up to launch an 18.5-inch all-in-one desktop, manufactured by Wistron, under its Acer brand in the near future.
