Lee ruled out of Edgbaston testAustralia Vice-captain Michael Clarke has confirmed the fast bowler Brett Lee has been ruled out of the third Ashes Test against England, which will be played at Edgbaston, as he failed to recover from the injury due to which he missed first two test matches of the ongoing Ashes series.

Clarke said that Lee has done a lot of exercises to get himself ready for the third test match but he was unable to regain his fitness as he bowled only three or four steps during the practice session in the nets.

After examining the pitch at Edgbaston Clarke said that pitch for third test match has been dry and he expect pitch to assist spinners in the later days of the test match.

He added that there has been forecast of rain during the test match and they would select their squad for this important test match after considering the weather and playing conditions.

Australian team is lagging behind in the Ashes test series by 1-0 after defeat in the second test match at Lords and they will be looking to level the series to retain their dominance in the test cricket.
