At least 22 dead in Colombian bus accident
Bogota - At least 22 people died Tuesday when a bus in south-west Colombia left the road and slid into a ravine, the police said.
Another 21 people were injured in the accident between the cities of Pasto and Puerto Asis in Narino province, said General Luis Alberto Moore, head of the traffic police.
Poor weather and reduced visibility were cited as factors in the accident on the mountain road, where the high number of accidents has earned it the nickname "road of death." (dpa)
