Konkana Sen Sharma has proved her versatility and talent in a lot of films ranging from the popular commercial to the serious unconventional portrayal of today's woman in a Bengali film.

Likeher mother Aparna Sen, Konkona has shown an openness to change and a desire to try new things. Konkana is all excited and thrilled about her role in the English film 'The President is coming', which is due to be released by September or October.

The film is about the globalization, and the obsession with the West. The movie is about six contestants, who play a game. A competition is held, and whoever wins, gets to meet the US President. Seems like an interesting and unique subject.

Commenting on her absence from Cinema she said "I don’t think it’s long time. But yes… I was shooting all throughout the year. At times some films get delayed but there are quite a few now lined up for release."

The recent flops ‘Laaga Chinari Mein Daag’ and ‘Aaja Nachle’ have not brought down the morale of the talented actress who is all set to show her prowess.
