From time to time various film stars have used their popularity for noble causes. John Abraham is closely associated with PETA. He has done various campaigns regarding ethical treatment of animals. This time he will be seen in an ad wearing wings. This ad is regarding birds.

Simran Kodesia of PETA said, “When John Abraham speaks up for animals, young people across India listen. His close association with PETA means that the message of compassion for birds and all other animals will reach more people than ever before”

In this ad he would be seen wearing huge angel wings standing next to the tagline ‘Be an Angel for Birds: Don’t Cage them’. The ad is a still shot taken from the Koi Aanay Wala Hai video. PetaDishoom has announced a contest for fans to come up with their original titles. Winners will get the autographed CDs of Strings' new album.

Faisal the lead singer of Strings said that birds have as much right to live as human beings. He stressed the need of preserving our ecosystem. The duo also spoke out against the illegal trafficking of wild animals and animal parts.

“The trade of banned animal products is as much due to myth as it is due to ignorance”, says Bilal (guitarist and composer of Strings).
