Washington, July 28 : Actor Jesse Metcalfe is all set to reprise his role on hit TV show `Desperate Housewives', according to reports.

He has reportedly signed on to play the role of hunky gardener John Rowland in the show that began in 2004.

Metcalfe has only made one-off appearances in the show's last three seasons.

But now, reports have suggested that Metcalfe is set to steam up the small screen with a high-profile role in the upcoming sixth series.

"He''ll be on for six to eight episodes, with the possibility of coming back full time. He''ll have a lot of shirtless scenes," Contactmusic quoted a source as telling OKmagazine. com.

The latest season is due to air on U. S. TV in September this year. (ANI)
