Manufacturers of Mercedes Benz -luxury cars are planning to launch A class Mercedes Benz in India in coming two to three years. Mercedes Benz makers have realized that India has a huge market for small car segments and also has a massive scope and demand for quality products.

The Mercedes Benz makers are very optimistic for the launch of A class in India. These cars are originally manufactured in Germany, the makers were planning to enter Indian market nearly a decade ago but were not sure how Indian people will react to such expensive cars. However, now the company is confident enough to launch A class Mercedes Benz in India.

Peter Trettin, President and CEO of Daimler, Central and Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia said that A class luxury car will be lined at low prices just to remain in the competition with other luxury brands which have already entered Indian market. Price revealed for A class Mercedes Benz would be between 16-20 lakh , this will be the entry level product apart from C class Mercedes.

Currently, Mercedes Benz A class is ruling various parts of the world as sub-compact car, with its unique features such as Automatic climate control, Engine immobilizer, ABS with BAS, (ESP) Electronic Stability Programme with Acceleration skid control (ASR) and dual air bags and side bags. It is available in both formats like petrol run engine and diesel run engine with different capacities of 1.5 liter and 1.7 liter available in petrol engine and 2.0 liter available in diesel engine.

Even the BMW makers have confessed that though Indian consumers have not shown much demand for their cars but it doesn't mean that they will refuse to enter Indian market in future. They are hopeful and will remain confident for their future Indian launch.
