Indian cricket will touch new heights, says Kapil DevLucknow, Feb 9 : Former Indian cricket captain and all-rounder Kapil Dev has shared his sportive spirit by playing cricket with blind children here and on the sidelines of the game opines that Indian cricket is all set to reach new heights.

"I hope that the future of Indian medium pacers will be good. I hope that Indian cricket will be touching new heights," said Kapil Dev.

Visually challenged cricketers enjoyed the game with Kapil Dev amidst them on the pitch.

"I am feeling very happy as I have played in this tournament before. I used to play for Delhi''s team and as a player I have been part of this tournament. That is the reason I am really enjoying being a part of this whole thing," said Seeshpal Yadav, a visually challenged cricketer.

On his part, Kapil Dev gave finer tips to the young visually challenged cricketers who incidentally happened to be players representing various States to participate in a cricket tournament played here. (ANI)
