'Home Minister' fame Aadesh Bandekar joins Shiv-Sena
Yet another popular TV personality has made it big by joining a political party in Maharashtra.
'Home Minister' fame popular Marathi TV personality Aadesh Bandekar joined Shiv Sena in presence of party executive president, Uddhav Thackeray.
Bandekar is the second television personality to join the Shiv-Sena in recent times after singer Abhijeet Sawant, first Indian Idol on the small screen.
Bandekar is famous for hosting a programme named 'Home Minister' on a Marathi TV channel.
It is believed that Bandekar and Sawant inclusion in the party will add jinx to the poll campaign.
Speaking on this occasion, Uddhav said: "Normally, the government comes to power and later on the Home Minister takes over. But in this case, we already have a 'Home Minister' and he is going to work for bringing Sena-BJP alliance to power in next month's Assembly elections." Uddhav also made it clear that the talks with its alliance partner BJP are continuing smoothly.
"There is no dispute. We are working together as a consolidated unit to ensure that the alliance is strong and it does well," said Uddhav.
