Hair color not only gives one a new look it can boast confidence and social life of women. Recent study by Nottingham Trent University proves that hair color affects the confidence level and mood of the women. Researchers found that women who color their hair in shades from platinum to strawberry enjoy increased confidence at work and better sexual experiences at home. In the present research, researchers studied the effect of hair colouring on a woman’s mood and well-being.  

For the study, researchers analyzed the data collected from 205 women aged between 25 and 66. Researchers found those women who dye their hair blonde experienced elevation in mood and confidence levels. Researchers said that there is lot of science involved behind art of coloring.

Lead researcher, Dr Mark Sergeant said: “The changes we noted in the study in participants behaviour and psychology were significant.” He added that not only confidence and mood levels of study subjects were elevated but their inhibitions seemed to be mitigated with many reporting feeling more attractive and sexually exciting.

He added that the big thing was that hair coloring also impacted work place behavior. After coloring their hair they were much more likely to ask for raise, challenge their boss or put their foot down when confronted by a coworker. 

Over 50% of the study subjects said that they were more likely to sing or dance in front of strangers at a social event after dying their hair. The same percentage also said they would be more likely to ask someone out, initiate sex, or even raise a complaint in the restaurant. 

Researchers also found that around 80% of respondents wanted to have more fun with help from their new blonde tresses. Over 50 percent of the study subjects said that they coloured their hair to “get attention” from strangers or “be noticed” by friends and colleagues.  

The research showed that hair color not only enhances your looks it also acts as a confidence booster. The feeling of being attractive and sexually exciting which women get after hair coloring, helps in shedding inhibitions and more confident approach is all walks of life.
