The animated doodle starts with the "L" of Google's logo, which is a figure holding a newspaper and is sitting on a chair. A robot goes up to the dad figure and offers a cup of coffee in a mug with the sign "#1" on the side. The letter, red "E" in Google's logo is behind the delivery.

The company has not tried to use the occasion or the Doodle to promote its services directly, possibly by showing that it services are meant for the whole family. The new doodle is another in the range of several others that are regularly revealed on the company's homepage to mark important events such as anniversaries and birthdays of important persons.
