Google fixes problem with Google Talk
Internet giant, Google has said that it has fixed a problem in its instant messaging service, Google Talk, which had affected a majority of the users of the service around the world.
“The problem with Google Talk should be resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support. Please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better,” the company said in a release.
Earlier this morning many users were unable to access their Google Talk accounts, some were able to log in but were not able to send messages as the service was completely unresponsive. According to some reports, android services were also affected due to the disruption.
Google has acknowledged the problem earlier and had said that platform is experiencing a 'Service Outage. The company had also promised that it is working to fix the problem with the messenger service. Google's own Gmail and Google+ IM tools were experiencing the problems as well.
Some users also complained about disruption in its related Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) and video-conferencing services earlier in the morning.
