RevaGoing green seems to be the latest theme for Indian automakers. Now every company is looking forward to come up with some new products that can also be an environment friendly.

India's largest utility vehicle maker Mahindra & Mahindra has purchased a majority stake in the REVA Electric Car Company.

But as per the latest development, country's largest automaker Maruti Suzuki is also trying to follow M&M's path. Maruti Suzuki is also keen on coming up with a vehicle operated with alternative fuel space.

As per sources, after M&M's electric move, India's number one car maker Marti Suzuki is planning to bring CNG compatible variants for the Indian Market. Earlier it has offered the same for small car wagon R and cargo vehicle Omni.

But now it's panning to come out with other models with LPG version. It is expected to bring such models in next six months. Its LPG model of Wagon R has been quite successful in the Indian markets. This model accounts for almost 25% of total Wagon R sales.
