Glorious figures of Standard CharteredStandard Chartered has reported to end up with a handsome profit in the FTSE 100 banking reporting season. The Bank has recorded a profit in the due time. For the seventh consecutive year, the financial success story of Standard Chartered continues.

Pre-tax profits of the company have grown up to $5.1billion. This figure has augmented to 13% from the previous year. The company has also offered an impressive dividend for the year which is 9% up from earlier. Total pay and bonuses of the Bank has risen by 4% to $4.91billion.

Chairman Mr. John Peace have revealed that without using the government liquidity, capital or asset protection support, the bank has posted a huge margin. It is due to its strong performance and dedication in such a competitive market.

Moreover, he assured his investors saying, the bank has no threats from the emirate companies or even from the troubled Dubai World. The bank has paid just $500 million of loans in advance to these companies for their rescue. He has also suggested the US government to ban the deposit-taking banks from investment banking for more motivating results.
