German hostages free in Yemen - government sources

Sana'a, Yemen - Three Germans taken hostage earlier in the week in Yemen have been freed, Sana'a government sources said Friday.

A source close to the government's negotiating team disclosed the development. Further information was not immediately available.

The three - a German woman working for the technical cooperation society GTZ as well as her father and mother who were visiting - were taken hostage on December 15. (dpa)
