George Lucas struggling to clinch broadcast deal for Star Wars spin-off

Washington, September 21 : ‘Star Wars’ creator George Lucas is struggling to clinch a broadcast deal with TV channels for his spin-off animated series ‘Clone Wars’.

The movie mogul has so far created 40 of the 100 episodes of his programme.

He has very clearly said that his production is not for a kids channel.

Lucas has also said that he wants a prime time slot for his programme.

"People are talking about it, but so far everybody's got the same conundrum: How do we programme it? It doesn't fall into the realm of what animation typically is, which is either adult, kind of off-colour humour or kiddie stuff,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"It has to go on after nine o'clock, and it can't be on a kiddie channel," he added. (With inputs from ANI)
