12 Kannada Films To Be Screened In 39th International Film FestAround a dozen ‘Kannada’ movies have been chosen for ‘International Film Festival of India IFFI-2008’ as ‘Kannada Film Industry’ is celebrating its 75th anniversary.

International Film Fest will begin on Saturday (22 November) in Panaji, Goa with ace Bollywood beauty ‘Rekha’ doing the honours.

Girish Kasaravali’s Gulabi Takies, Umashankar's Banada Neralu, Abhaya Singh's Gubbachchi will be showcased in Indian Panorama film section.

Kannada 'Putti' has been picked out for documentary film section.
