4 Culling Members Fall Ill In ‘Malda’ During the culling and moping operations, 4 culling members have come down with influenza-like symptoms in Malda last evening. One of them, Mohd Ellius (40) from satgharia was in a very serious condition. He had high fever and breathing problem, so he was admitted to the isolation ward and kept under observation. Chief medical officer of health (CMOH) Srikanta Roy said, “He does not have respiratory problem or influenza symptom so far. But we have kept him in the isolation ward for observations.”

Aurobindo Pharma Gets Tentative Approval For HIV DrugAurobindo Pharma, an Indian private pharmaceutical company, informed that it has got tentative sanction from US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) to make and sell fixed dosed combination Abacavir Sulfate/ Lamivudine Tablets.

The company has been allowed to manufacture the drugs in the strengths of 60/30 mg.

Abacavir sulfate tablets are indicated for the treatment of HIV infection in adults and children 3 months of age or older.
