New Delhi, Mar. 31: Taking a potshot at the UPA Government before its Cabinet Committee of Prices meets later this evening to discuss ways to arrest the inflationary prices of essential items, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday accused it of mismanaging the national food buffer stock, and suggested that Parliament must be taken into confidence to resolve an impending crisis.
London, Mar 25 : Congratulating new Pakistani Premier Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on his assumption of office, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown on Tuesday offered his “full support” to him.
Gilani was sworn in earlier in the day by President Pervez Musharraf.
“I congratulate him and look forward to working closely with him on our shared agenda,” Brown said in a statement released by his Downing Street office.
