London, Dec 9 : Despite having escaped being jailed, Brit man Vince Acors, involved in the Dubai beach-sex scandal, was seen drunk and romping about with two girls at the same bar where the whole scandal had started.

The Romeo IT boss, who had been charged with indecent behaviour along with publishing executive Michelle Palmer, 36, was seen kissing a busty brunette and lifting a scantily clad blonde in his arms just five months after the incident.

An onlooker, who witnessed the latest antics by Acors, 34, of Bromley, South East London, said the Brit was showing that he did not care.

“It was like sticking two fingers up at the people of Dubai,” the Sun quoted the onlooker as saying.

Washington, December 9 : A new study suggests that non-profit organizations should rely on the same strategies to attract netizens to their websites as online marketers, so that they may raise awareness of their “brand” and its aims and convert Internet users into donors.

Dave McMahon and Charla Griffy-Brown of the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University, Los Angeles, say that non-profit organisations can exploit Search Engine Marketing (SEM)—which involves focusing on how well a website can attract high ranking in the search engine results pages (SERPs) of the main web search engines, Google, Yahoo! and Microsoft Live Search.

Washington, Dec 9 : You must have seen people getting enraged and taking up the biggest of fights after the most trivial of things without any reason after all. But now, University of Minnesota researcher Vladas Griskevicius has found out what leads people to make a mountain out of a molehill— aggression, status and sex.

While hostility or belligerent acts might not immediately appear to be linked to reproduction, the new study has shown that mating goals may be behind aggressive behaviours among people.

Griskevicius, a marketing professor at the U of M''s Carlson School of Management, and his colleagues have found conclusive evidence that merely activating a desire for status can trigger aggression.

Joe Satriani drags Coldplay to court over plagiarism

Washington, Dec 9 : Legendary guitarist Joe Satriani has accused rock band Coldplay for plagiarising one of his songs.

The 52-year-old veteran artist has filed a lawsuit at Los Angeles federal court against the band for their 2008 hit track Viva La Vida.

Satriani alleges that the Yellow hitmakers have copied segments from his 2004 instrumental If I Could Fly to use in their track.

He also said that he never intended to instigate a full-fledged legal battle - but was forced to after the group refused to address his concerns.

"Everybody assumes I''m trying to go after these guys in Coldplay, as if I''m doing this with malice - that''s the furthest thing from my mind,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

‘Twilight’ director Catherine Hardwicke won’t helm its sequel

New MoonLondon, Dec 9 : Record-breaking ‘Twilight’ director Catherine Hardwicke has revealed that she won’t helm the film’s sequel, ‘New Moon’.

The US filmmaker feels that she needs more time to work on the film and could not commit to a late 2009-early 2010 release date, according to reports.

"I am sorry that due to timing I will not have the opportunity to direct New Moon," BBC quoted Hardwicke, as saying.

The film’s producer Summit Entertainment said it had "a mandate" to release the next instalment "in a timely fashion".
