On Monday, it was informed by employees at various Wal-Mart stores that the iPhone will be available at the Wal-Mart stores in a week or two. However, no official announcement on offering the iPhone at this time was made by the retailer.

In recent weeks, it has been speculated by numerous websites that Apple will offer a 4-gigabyte model of the iPhone for $99 (67 pounds), which holds about 1,000 songs, at Wal-Mart stores.

Bill And Jane Pitt walked the red carpet with Jolie, who looked stunning in a strapless black dress.

And the `Mr and Mrs Smith' actress played a dutiful host for the evening, even declining to chat with some reporters.

"I have to stay with them," People quoted Jolie as telling reporters.

On the other hand, Pitt was looking dapper in a bowtie and tux, still donning his old-school moustache.

He said that the entire event was designed to channel old Hollywood glamour.

Injury to Smith, Steyn and Harris increases Proteas’ worries

Melbourne, Dec 10: South African captain Graeme Smith has joined strike bowler Dale Steyn and frontline spinner Paul Harris on the sidelines for the tourists' opening match against Western Australia on Thursday.

Smith will miss the one-dayer at the WACA with an elbow injury, coach Mickey Arthur told reporters on Wednesday.

Steyn, who is nursing a minor hamstring strain, and left-arm spinner Harris, who has had a cast removed from his injured left thumb, will also miss the game, the Daily Telegraph reported.

However, all three are expected to play in the two-day match against a WA XI starting on Friday.

Arthur said the injury to Steyn, the leading bowler in Test cricket in 2008 with 60 wickets, was not serious.

Remains of Roman temple unearthed in Nottinghamshire

London, Dec 10 : Archaeologists have found the remains of a Roman temple in a town in Nottinghamshire, UK, a discovery that experts say could re-write the history books.

According to a report in the website nottingham. co. uk, a wall dating back as far as 43AD, made from large smooth-faced sandstone blocks, has been unearthed at the former Minster School site in Southwell in Nottinghamshire.

Twenty meters long by 2.5 meters tall, it is part of an emerging complex of buildings, including a Roman bathing monument known as a nymphaeum.

The site also contains what is believed to be a large villa.
