New York, December 24: American actress/singer Jennifer Lopez might have renewed her wedding vows with her husband Mark Anthony recently, but it seems that they have been facing troubles in their relationship for long.

While the couple were recently photographed without their wedding rings, sources have revealed that Lopez used to take all necessary steps to ensure that her husband did not cheat on her during his tours.

A source has revealed that Lopez would send her assistant with Anthony on tour, while she stayed at home with their twins, so as to remain informed about her husband's moves.

"She wanted reports back so he didn''t cheat on her," the New York Post quoted the source as saying.

Dec 24: South African coach Mickey Arthur has noted that Brett Lee had struggled to perform as Australia's strike bowler without the dependable Stuart Clark building pressure from the other end.

"Brett is a champion bowler and he has been for a long time. I think what we are seeing from Brett is that since Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath have gone, he has done a huge amount more bowling," Arthur said.

"I say it with respect, but Clark is obviously the perfect foil for him. Without Clark, without a guy doing a holding job, perhaps his role sometimes gets a little bit confused. I think Brett is at his best when he is striking for you. How they balance their attack, I'm not sure," he added.

New Delhi, Dec 24: Eminent filmmaker, fashion designer and painter Muzaffar Ali joined children here to paid tributes to the victims of the last month''s Mumbai terror attacks.

In the event organised by a self-help group, children painted strokes on a huge canvas symbolising brightness and youthfulness.

Ali, who also put different strokes in the painting to signify his vision for a peaceful nation said that artist, could depict humanity through art.

"An artist through his art can repeat depictions of humanity - what is the value of human and his life and how people kill innocents in the name of religion," said Muzaffar Ali.

Children said this was their attempt to pay tribute to the martyrs of the Mumbai assault.

Melbourne, Dec 24: Captain Ricky Ponting is unsure whether all rounder Andrew Symonds, struggling with a knee injury, would be fit enough to play the Boxing Day Test at the MCG.

Already 1-0 down against South Africa, Australia faces the prospect of making up to three changes for the second Test if Symonds fails to prove his fitness, The Australian reported.

Fellow all-rounder Shane Watson would play if Symonds' condition does not improve, while fast bowler Ben Hilfenhaus is putting pressure on Peter Siddle and off-spinner Jason Krejza has already been dropped to make way for Nathan Hauritz.

London, Dec 24 : Michelle Palmer, the Brit woman convicted of having sex on a Dubai beach, has returned to Britain. However, the man she was arrested with remains in custody.

Vince Acors, 34, of Bromley, south-east London, was re-arrested last night as he prepared to board a flight back to the UK.

Hassan Matter, who represented Palmer and Acors during their trial in Dubai, said: "She didn''t have any problems because she had been in Dubai to work. Vince has some procedures to go through because his visa has expired. He went to the airport but did not have the paperwork. He had to go back to prison to sort it out.

"We don''t have any problem with the Dubai Public Prosecution. Everyone is doing their job."
