Melbourne, January 4 : Paris Hilton reportedly treaded the same floor as her ex-boyfriends Rick Salomon and Brandon Davis at the Icebergs New Year''s Day party in Sydney.

The millionaire-heiress, who was allegedly yet to forgive Salomon for leaking their private sex tape online in 2003, had parked herself with sister Nicky and Cheyenne and Tahyna Tozzi in private corners of Icebergs.

The socialite, who had grabbed the spotlight as an international celebrity with the infamous `One Night In Paris' video, reportedly gave a cold shoulder to her former LA based boyfriend.

Meanwhile, her another ex, Brandon Davis, was said to have been sharing the ice with Salomon in a another dance area, reports the Daily Telegraph.

Spanish and British journalists released in Somalia

Mogadishu - A British reporter and a Spanish photographer were released Sunday after 40 days' captivity in Somalia's semi- autonomous Puntland region, officials said.

Colin Freeman, who worked for Britain's Sunday Telegraph and freelance photographer Jose Cendon were in Puntland covering a surge in piracy off Somalia when they were seized from the port town of Bosasso.

"The two western journalists were released this morning and they are now in a hotel in Bosasso," Bile Mohamoud Qabowsade, a senior advisor to the Puntland president, told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa.

Female suicide bomber kills 40, mainly Iranians, in Baghdad

Baghdad - A suicide bomb blast on Sunday killed at least 40 people and wounded 65 in the Kadhimiya area of northern Baghdad, with most of the victims Iranian pilgrims, the Voices of Iraq news agency reported, citing a security source.

The agency said the attack was carried out by a female suicide bomber. The woman wearing an explosives belt blew herself up at a joint army-police checkpoint in the Kadhimiya area, the source told the agency.

According to the source, most of the casualties were Iranian pilgrims who were among the many foreigners who had come to commemorate the Shiite festival of Ashoura at the shrine of Imam Musa al-Kadhim, in the Baghdad district bearing his name.

New York, Jan 4 : `Slumdog Millionaire', a rags-to-riches tale shot with handheld digital cameras in Mumbai, has been honoured with best cinematography prize by the National Society of Film Critics.

`Slumdog Millionaire' is a fictitious story about an 18-year-old Indian, who wins India's version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, reports the New York Daily News.

`Waltz with Bashir,' an animated documentary about Israel''s 1982 invasion of Lebanon, received best picture award.

Sean Penn walked away with best actor gong for his performance in `Milk,' a biopic about the pioneering gay politician Harvey Milk.
