Charlotte Church welcomes second childWashington, Jan 12: Welsh singer Charlotte Church and her rugby player boyfriend Gavin Henson welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on January 11.

The baby's birth was revealed on Church's website, with a statement reading "we can confirm that he weighed in at 7 lb., 5 oz., and that mum and baby are both doing just fine."

"He was born just after midnight at her and Gavin''s home with Gavin in attendance at the birth," People magazine quoted the statement as adding.

It seems that the recent terror attacks in country’s financial capital, Mumbai, have awakened the West Bengal government. The state government has decided to brace up the security arrangements in the city-based medical college and hospitals.

After visiting the SSKM Hospital recently, state Home Secretary Ardhendu Sen held a meeting with senior police officers and health department officials to sketch the security needs. The government has decided to have armed guards to man the wards of some premier city hospitals.

A spokesman of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, while referring to a news item published in a section of the Press titled "Govt notifies Press Registration Ord,
2002", has said that the Ordinance was promulgated in 2002 and that rules were framed subsequently to implement different provisions of this Ordinance.
