Sydney - Doctors at a Sydney hospital used saline solution to remove a leech that had attached itself to an Australian woman's eyeball, news reports said Monday.

"It was tucked up underneath her upper eyelid," emergency room doctor Toby Fogg said. "Our little fellow started off at about half a centimetre and by the time we removed it, it was about 2 centimetres long. It had quite a good lunch."

The 66-year-old woman was gardening when the leech found its way into her eye.

Islamabad, Apr. 20 : At least twenty militants were reportedly killed in an offensive launched by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in the Orakzai region of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Pakistan military officials have claimed.

According to the Dawn, PAF jets and helicopter gunships launched an attack targeting a close aide of Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud, Hakimullah Mehsud, who had claimed the responsibility for a suicide car-bomb attack on a security convoy in which 25 security personnel were killed near Kohat town of the agency.

New Delhi - At least five separatist rebels were killed in an encounter with government troops in India's north-eastern state of Assam Monday, a news report said.

The combat between rebels belonging two separatist militant outfits, the National Democratic Front of Bodoland and Muslim United Liberation Tigers of Assam and the army took place in central Sonitpur district, the PTI news agency reported quoting defence sources.

Taipei - Taiwan has more than doubled its quota for Chinese tourists and plans to further raise the limit to cope with the increased number of Chinese tour groups, a newspaper reported Monday.

The Taipei Times quoted Premier Liu Chao-shiuan as saying that the adjustment was necessary because the number of Chinese tourists could hit 7,000 people per day by next month.

Liu noted that the number of tourists exceeded 4,000 people per day last week.

In its latest research report, Nirmal Bang, an equity research firm said that ICICI Bank, which presently stuck in a band of 405-445, can give good returns within 4-5 trading session.

The report further stated that, if the counter is successful to breach 445, then it will create a huge breakout.

Nirmal Bang Research has advised its clients to hold the scrip with a target price of Rs 460-485.
