Washington, Jan. 16: President George W. Bush said Thursday that closing the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, is "not as easy as it sounds," sending a warning to President-elect Barack Obama that he will have to find a way to prevent those released from coming back to attack the U. S.

"People will find that there''s quite a few that are very dangerous people and to put them in a position where they can eventually get out on the street and come back and harm one of our citizens would be a very dangerous policy," Bush told The Washington Times in an interview in the Oval Office.

Phil Jaques delays comeback from back injury

Sydney, Jan. 16 : Australian Test opener Phil Jaques has delayed his return to action by a further week after experiencing discomfort in his back during training.

Jaques, who missed the entire Test summer after undergoing surgery for a bulging disc, was due to return to the crease in grade cricket for Sutherland this weekend.

"Phil experienced a small amount of discomfort after a training session during the week, as a result of which his surgeon recommended allowing an extra week for recovery," Cricket NSW said in a statement.

Safdar was in Mardan to attend a meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz wherein Farooq Khan Hoti, son of Federal Minister Khwaja Muhammad Khan Hoti belonging to the Awami National Party announced that he was joining PML-N, The News reported.

Addressing a meeting of the PML-N workers at Hoti, Mardan, Safdar said Zardari should step down, as he could not live up to the expectations of the people, and had failed to fulfil the commitments made to the masses during electioneering.
