Modern remake of ‘Full House’ scrapped?

Washington, Dec 13: Plans for a modern remake of 90s U. S. sitcom ‘Full House’ have reportedly been scrapped.

In an interview to OK! magazine, former child star Candace Cameron said that actor John Stamos was planning to reunite the cast of the hit family sitcom for new audiences.

The "semi-remake" was planned to centre around Cameron Bure and co-star Jodie Sweetin''s characters.

The girls played the older sisters of Michelle Tanner, a role shared by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

But a TV insider has told E! news that Stamos is "no longer pitching" the idea.

And that’s because he couldn''t stir up enough interest without the Olsen twins'' involvement.
