Dadasaheb Phalke Academy is organizing an award function on 4th May, to commemorate with 140th birth anniversary of Dadasaheb Phalke, at Bhaidas Auditorium, Vile Parle, Mumbai where many film dignitaries will be felicitated. The late Prithviraj Kapoor will be posthumously honoured with a Phalke Kalpataru Award at this function.
Filmmaker Prakash Jha is contesting the upcoming parliamentary elections from the Bettiah constituency in Bihar. The acclaimed filmmaker has already begun campaigning after he got the ticket from the Lok Jansakti Party. Kapoor however does admit to be working on something really interesting which he chooses not to reveal so soon. "I shall definately share it all when the time is right. It is too early to disclose anything now." he told us.
