Kardashian, 28, had arrived at the event at Haven House in a belted Halston dress, but while posing on the red carpet she refused photographers' requests to turn around, reports Fox News.

Kardashian politely refused their request saying that she did not like the back of her dress, and her sister Kourtney also advised her from the side not to turn around.

Abdul has now said that she was not referring to only one person, and that her comment has been misconstrued.

Ono, 76, and John Baldessari will be presented with a Golden Lion at the contemporary art exhibition, which runs from June 7 to November 22.

"The pair's ground-breaking activities have opened new poetic, conceptual and social possibilities for artists around the globe," Contactmusic quoted the show's curator, Daniel Birnbaum, as saying.
