Washington, Feb 27 : The real reason behind American socialite Kim Kardashian's refusal to do her famous back pose at the Stardust Pictures Pre-Oscar bash has been put down to a wardrobe malfunction.

Kardashian, 28, had arrived at the event at Haven House in a belted Halston dress, but while posing on the red carpet she refused photographers' requests to turn around, reports Fox News.

Kardashian politely refused their request saying that she did not like the back of her dress, and her sister Kourtney also advised her from the side not to turn around.

Washington, Feb 27 : American pop singer Paula Abdul has denied that she criticised co-judge Kara DioGuardi, who has newly joined American Idol.

The 46-year-old was reacting to recent reports suggesting that she did not think that the show worked well with four judges.

In her reply, DioGuardi said that she was "hurt" by the criticism.

Abdul has now said that she was not referring to only one person, and that her comment has been misconstrued.

Washington, Feb 27 : Late `Beatle' star John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono will be honoured for her contribution to the art world at this year''s prestigious Venice Biennale event in Italy.

Ono, 76, and John Baldessari will be presented with a Golden Lion at the contemporary art exhibition, which runs from June 7 to November 22.

"The pair's ground-breaking activities have opened new poetic, conceptual and social possibilities for artists around the globe," Contactmusic quoted the show's curator, Daniel Birnbaum, as saying.

"Action Comics #1" was published in June 1938, and is considered by experts to be the world''s most valuable comic book, reports Fox News.

"It''s the Holy Grail of comic books," comic expert Stephen Fishler, who created the 10-point grading scale used to evaluate comic books, said.

Washington, February 27 : Superstar singer Whitney Houston has warned Rihanna against reconciling with her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown after an alleged bust-up with him.

Cops are probing whether Brown made criminal threats after allegedly attacking the `Umbrella' hitmaker, following a pre-Grammys party on February 8.

Rihanna's father has already confirmed that her relationship with Brown is "over".

Houston has now advised the 21-year-old star to end the troubled romance for good.
