‘Watchmen’ tops weekend box officeWashington, Mar 9 : Superhero blockbuster `Watchmen' has topped the weekend box office after raking in 55.7 million dollars.

According to studio estimates, Tyler Perry''s `Madea Goes to Jail' landed the second spot with 8.8 million dollars, reports E! Online.

`Taken' came third with 7.5 million dollars while Oscar-winning movie `Slumdog Millionaire' stood fourth after earning 6.9 million dollars.

`Slumdog Millionaire', which tracks the journey of an 18-year-old boy from rags-to-riches, has won eight Oscars out of the 10 categories it was nominated for.

Britney meets sick children in MiamiWashington, Mar 9 : Pop princess Britney Spears met 40 sick children at Miami Children''s Hospital on Saturday, while she was on her `Circus Tour' in the city.

"She took pictures with the kids and gave them autographed pictures," People magazine quoted hospital spokesperson Cristene Martinez as saying.

She added: "The kids were so excited to meet Britney, and having her here was a great distraction for them."

The `Womaniser' star also made a donation to the hospital''s Big Apple Circus Clown Care program.

Imran KhanImran Khan: Imran Khan is an American-born Bollywood film star. Khan is the son of Anil Pal, a Bengali-American and Nuzhat Khan. Anil, who works as a Directory of Operations Engineering at Netflix in Silicon Valley, was a classmate of director Mansoor Khan, Nuzhat's brother, at IIT Bombay. Anil and Nuzhat married but divorced when Imran was one and half years old. He grew up with the surname Khan as his mother brought him up in India. However, he moved to live with his father in California, to finish high school. He then trained in film making in Los Angeles. He is also the nephew of actor Aamir Khan and director Mansoor Khan.

Grihasthi The popular show on Star Plus, Grihasthi is coming to an end. The show is getting off air on the 27th of March, 2009.

The creative head of Sphere Origins informs us, “The show is coming to an end on the 27th of this month. I personally went on the sets to break this news to everybody and trust me it was not easy to look into everyone’s eyes and say such a thing. The entire cast and crew was shocked and many had tears in their eyes too”.
