The first trailer of Battle: Los Angeles has been released and it will definitely make us sit straight in our chairs. The trailer was released on Yahoo Movies. It begins with a regular day of training for the soldiers. A small celebration by the soldiers was followed by the news that a small meteor were entering the Earth's atmosphere. A few clippings on the news channels set the mood of the film.

The impact of the attack leaves our jaws dropping as there is large scale destruction and warnings for evacuation. The characters in the movie, along with us, try to figure out what these things are.

It is only in the middle of these missiles and fires that we learn that the human beings were being "colonized" again. The aliens and their super innovative and hi-tech weapons blow off buildings and humans alike. A series of random shots show the impact of the alien attack and how helpless the humans are. The sun sets on a ruined Los Angeles.

The last 20 seconds leave us breathless as we see a humongous alien weapon of mass destruction arising from the ground.

The first thought that comes to mind about this Columbia Pictures film is that is it just another humans versus aliens movie? Well, it is more than that. This story with Los Angeles in its backdrop has Jonathan Liebesman as the director. This great city faces a crisis that is literally out of this world. The Marine Staff has to battle the most extraordinary enemies ever.
