Explosives thrown at Jewish centre in Caracas
Caracas - Unknown attackers threw an explosive device at a Jewish community centre in the Venezuelan capital of Caracas on Thursday.
No one was injured in the attack in the northern part of the city, but there was damage to the building, said Abraham Garzon, president of the centre.
"It seems that some people in this country want to sow terrorism," Garzon told broadcaster Globovision.
At the end of January, the city's main synagogue was vandalized by a group of armed men, including several police officers. (dpa)
