Mumbai-headquartered Ess Dee Aluminium Ltd has finally received the Drug Master file Type III certificate from U.S.F.D.A for the cold formed blister foil, child resistant foil and tropicalised laminates manufactured at its factory at Dunetha, Nani Daman.

With the approval, Ess Dee Aluminium becomes the first manufacturing company in India to receive the certification for these products.

Ess Dee Aluminium Limited involves in the manufacture and supply of primary packaging materials to the pharmaceutical industry in India and internationally. The company specializes in providing tailor made aluminum foil based flexible packaging laminates, and PVC based thermoforming solutions.    

At 12:24 PM the shares of the company were trading at Rs 140, down 3% compared to its previous close of Rs 144. The scrip touched an intraday high and low of Rs 145 and Rs 128 respectively.
