Erectile Dysfunction Diagnosis Along With Drugs Will Be Available Online
According to statistics, around eight million over the age of 40 suffer from erectile dysfunction. It is believed that 3.2 million men prefer to suffer in silence than face the embarrassment of telling their GP about erectile problems. Some of these men turn to unreliable online sources to solve their problem. The new online services started by Lloyds pharmacy will be helping such men who find it difficult to discuss their problems with a medical expert. This service will help these men to get erectile dysfunction drugs from reliable source without a prescription from their GP.
Lloyds pharmacy, in partnership with sexual health experts Dr Thom has launched this online service initially in UK. The online service will offer proper diagnosis of erectile problems and the subsequent dispensing of prescriptions via the internet. To avail this service, the person has to fill the questionnaire available at the website. Then Dr Thom will analyze the answers. After proper diagnoses, electronic prescription will be send to Lloyds pharmacy which will post the erectile dysfunction pills to the patients. The service is available at www.lloydspharmacy.com.
Andy Murdock, pharmacy director of Lloyds pharmacy said: "We hope this new service will give men the confidence to use the internet for erectile dysfunction treatments, safe in the knowledge that they will be receiving genuine drugs from a reliable source."
He added that many men turn to the internet for erectile dysfunction medication. Unfortunately, most online sources are unregulated and patients risk receiving fake medicines which contain little, if any, of the active ingredient.
He further said that in some cases the medicines contain harmful substances which can cause health problems. Moreover, some erectile dysfunction drugs lower blood pressure so if they are dispensed to patients whose blood pressure is already low it could be very dangerous. Our service will eliminate this risk.
