After her 'Saas-Bahu' serials, TV bigwig Ekta Kapoor is back with a different genre of series, which has been inspired by the city's lower side.

The serial titled 'Bayttab Dil Ki Tamanna' will be aired on Sony TV from October 6th at 10 PM from Monday to Thursday.

During the launching party, Ekta Kapoor, Creative Head, Balaji Telefilms said, "Bayttaab is a story which deals with relationship basically - it's at the time when your own rapport is at the question. It is when your life is stuck between the survival and the reality."

Ms Kapoor called her new serial as a modern day Deewar.

"It can be termed as the story of three sisters who will struggle to achieve their goals but in their own way. This is what will differentiate them from each other. One believes that there is not shortcut [^] to success while another believes that there is only short cut. The story also shows the ambitions of these three [^] sisters and their journey for the same," she added

Besides Bayttab…, Ekta also launched another commercial potboiler names as 'Pyaar Ka Bandhan', which goes on air on Oct 7 at 10:30 pm.

Ekta said that Pyaar Ka Bandhan is a combination of emotions and drama.

"It's the story of an ill mother and their four kids which gets adopted by different families. This show can be termed as a retro type for Balaji which is a mixture of the films Waqt and Yaadon Ki Baarat," she concluded.
