Dungeon dad’s custody extended

London, June 7 : Austrian incest fiend Josef Fritzl, who held his daughter captive in a cellar for 24 years, will remain in custody for another two months, a prosecutor has said.

The ruling extends the 73-year-old beast’s pre-trial detention until a judge re-evaluates the situation in two months.

Fritzl has confessed to locking up his daughter, Elisabeth, and repeatedly raping her, authorities said.

He was formally placed in custody on April 29, and is likely to be charged when the investigation is complete, reports The Sun.

Fritzl told investigators he fathered Elisabeth's seven children - three who were raised in a cellar at his home in Amstetten, three brought up above ground, and one who died in infancy.

DNA tests confirmed the monster is the biological father of the six surviving children.

The authorities hope to question Elisabeth next month about her ordeal. (ANI)
