Discovery attacked cargo carrier to ISS

Discovery attacked cargo carrier to ISSNASA's space craft carrying eight astronauts and 13-ton cargo has been successful in attaching the carrier to the International Space Station (ISS) early on Thursday morning.

The astronauts lifted the carrier from the payload and attacked to the space station which now has a new walk-in closet. More than half of the cargo delivered is science equipments and supplies.

Discovery has added a new bedroom and freezer to the station. The space agency is planning to turn a sleeping room in to a powder room where astronauts will be able to clean themselves by taking sponge baths.

The cargo carrier named Leonardo was built in Italy. The carrier will be used to bring back trash and old equipment to earth. The carrier will fly back to the space station in September this year and become a permanent storage unit. The space shuttle program now has just three more missions before the program ends.
