Dell, which is one of the largest PC manufacturer in the world, has introduced two new touch-screen enabled systems, the desktop ‘Inspiron One 19' and the laptop ‘Studio 17'.

Both the systems will work on the Microsoft’s Windows 7 Touch platform.

The desktop ‘Inspiration One 19’ is designed to be an all-in-one system including features like a 19-inch screen with 1400×900 pixels, 2.2GHz Intel Celeron processor, 3GB RAM, a 320GB hard disk drive and a DVD writer.

Its outer structure measures 386×477×103mm and has weight of 7.3 Kg. Dell has kept the starting price of the system at £499.

Moreover, the new features of the ‘Inspiration One 19’, which will excite the users includes the system’s user friendly touch applications with multi-touch screen option, wireless mouse and keyboard, video chat enabled with 1.3 MP webcam and a standard 8 in 1 media card reader.

The notebook Studio 17 is the first notebook computer from the company to proffer a touch-screen interface. The new 17.3 inches laptop features a full HD display, which can be upgraded, 1600×900 pixels screen together with JBL branded speakers, WiFi and a Webcam. It has storage capacity of 1TB of HDD, 8 GB RAM and a Blu-ray drive.

Moreover, the midrange Radeon HD 4650 chip in the laptop is specially aimed at multimedia applications rather than gaming. The sleek and stylish design of Dell Studio 17’s serious power and awe-inspiring graphics set a new standard for premium performance. The Studio 17 helps in watching high quality movies and exceptional acoustics.

The company hasn’t yet informed about the price of the notebook studio 17.
