Washington, Feb 12 : Pop star Chris Brown has left people baffled, as he has chosen none other than Michael Jackson's former lawyer, who badly lost the onetime pop-king's case, to represent him in his domestic abuse case against Rihanna.

Michael's former lawyer Mark Geragos got him into trouble after he almost had him behind bars in his child molestation case, after which Michael replaced him with another lawyer Mesereau, who finally got him acquitted of the charges.

However, Brown and his people have chosen Geragos instead of Mesereau, reports Fox News.

Meanwhile. Brown's silence on the whole issue is not benefiting his current situation, as he has already been dropped from the Wrigley and Milk Council campaign.

Many radio stations have also rebuffed his songs from their playlists.

Chris Brown has been accused of an alleged attack on pop star Rihanna, who was left with a split lip, a bloody nose and bite marks on her hands. (ANI)
