China Puts Ban On Vulgar Ads
Chinese authorities have released fresh guidelines to control the use of sex and offensiveness in advertisements of online video games.
The culture department issued a notice on Tuesday, asking representatives to test out the offensive marketing of cyber games.
The administration had also issued a notice on June 22 banishing the use of sex, gambling and violence to promote online games.
The fresh rule, to be implemented from Aug 1, came after a string of ads by online game companies. (With Inputs from Agencies)
