Novel PDA Phone - P565 launched by Asus

Asus P565 Recently, the ASUS P565 was launched by ASUS, which basically is a business PDA phone that boasts 800 MHz processor. The handset also features ASUS' latest touch-driven user interface - Glide.

A press release by the company informed, "The P565 delivers graphics and system performance that is higher than anything else in the market at present, posting Vsbenchmark scores almost two times that of competing products in its class."

Six 45nm business class desktop CPUs in 3Q09 to be launched by AMD

AMDIt has been learnt from reliable sources at AMD that after the recent update of its 45nm consumer desktop CPU schedule, the motherboard and chip-maker company is thinking to unveil six 45nm processors for its business class lineup in the third quarter of 2009.

The names of the planned CPUs revealed by the sources are the dual-core Athlon X2 B23 (2.9GHz/2MB) and B21 (2.7GHz/2MB), triple-core Phenom II X3 B73
(2.8GHz/7.5MB) and B71 (2.6GHz/7.5MB), and quad-core Phenom II X4 B93 (2.8GHz/8MB) and B91 (2.6GHz/8MB).

Twitter-Savvy Recently, the harmonious functioning of Twitter was disrupted, when the micro-blogging website, that lets the users to broadcast short messages to groups of followers laned as a target of a wave of hacking and phishing attacks.

On Monday, it was confirmed by the San Francisco Company that a total number of accounts hijacked were 33, including those of President-elect Barack Obama, singer Britney Spears, and CNN correspondent Rick Sanchez.

Freescale chip aims at 1GHz, sub-$200 Netbook New silicon for Netbooks is expected to be launched by Freescale Semiconductor at the Consumer Electronics Show this week in Las Vegas which it believes will come in below $200. 

According to to Freescale, formerly Motorola's chipmaking arm, “The ARM chip architecture-based i.MX51 processor is designed to enable low-power, gigahertz performance netbooks at sub-$200 price points.”

TCS inaugurates development centre in Bhubaneswar

TCS inaugurates development centre in Bhubaneswar TATA group owned Tata Consultancy Services started its new IT development center in Bhubaneswar on Sunday. The development came when entire IT sector is facing the heat of global financial crisis. The new center was inaugurated by Orissa Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik in a function held in state's capital. 

The function was also attended by Surjya Narayan Patro, Minister of Energy, Culture & Information Technology, Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, IT, Orissa and TCS leadership team of S Ramadorai besides Managing director of Tata Steel, B Muthuraman.
