Panasonic’s new range of cameras Panasonic, announced their three sub-$200 cameras on Friday, which they avoided doing at last week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Two of the cameras, which would provide a slim and compact build at a cheaper price than the company's high-end slim and compact FX-Series, have been included in the FS-series. As far as the third camera is concerned, it will be part of LS-series, which though would be heaviest of Panasonic's point-and-shoot line, but would be the cheapest. It has been learnt that the LS-series camera could be availed at a suggested retail price of just $119.95.

Revenues Could Fall By 50 Percent, predict Nvidia It was recently informed by the graphics maker Nvidia Corp. that due to weakness in end-user demand, Q4 revenue will decline by up to 50 percent sequentially.

Nvidia reported, “Specifically, the massive shortfall was a result of further weakness in end-user demand and inventory reductions by Nvidia's channel partners in the global PC supply chain.”

Nvidia reported $897.7 million for the Q3 of fiscal 2009 compared to $1.12 billion for the third quarter of fiscal 2008, a decrease of 20 percent.

Court to hear Satyam case today

Court to hear Satyam case todayA Hyderabad court will take up Satyam case and hear the arguments of disgraced Satyam chief B Ramalinga Raju to provide him bail in connection with corporate audit fraud worth Rs 7,000-crore.

Raju along with his brother and CFO of company, Vadlamani Sriniva filed a petition in court to grant them bail as they are fully co-operating in the investigations.

Police is expected to counter the bail petition and ask for their judicial remand.

The court would also hear the petitions filed by Security and Exchange Board of India and Criminal Investigation Department on the same day.

Bosch axes 250 jobs at Hungarian plantBudapest  - The German engineering firm Bosch announced on Thursday that it is cutting 250 jobs at its largest Hungarian plant due to falling orders.

"Since the end of last year, Bosch's largest Hungarian automotive plant has been faced with ever smaller orders from its partners as a result of the crisis in the automotive industry that began last year," Zsuzsanna Kukaj, spokeswoman for Bosch Hungary, told the local news agency MTI

The job cuts will take effect in February. The number of shifts at the plant will be cut from four to three, Kukaj added.
